Blueforce Command Center and BlueforceEDGE now Available on Microsoft Azure Government Cloud
Blueforce Command Center and BlueforceEDGE are now available on Microsoft Azure Government Cloud via the Microsoft managed services CSP program. Microsoft Azure Government Cloud is the most trusted cloud for mission-critical government workloads.
Microsoft Azure Government delivers a cloud platform built upon the foundational principles of security, privacy & control, compliance, and transparency. Federal and state/local agencies can utilize Blueforce products on a physically isolated instance of Microsoft Azure that employs world-class security and compliance services critical to U.S. government for all systems and applications, such as Blueforce, delivered on its service platform.
“Blueforce’s national security customers demand high availability, security, and compliance assurance that Azure Government Cloud can provide. With Microsoft’s use of screened and cleared U.S. personnel, the Azure Government Cloud delivers a superior managed service platform for Blueforce products and services,” said John Black, Vice President of Public Sector at Blueforce.
Over the past several years, Microsoft Azure has gained an industry leading number of accreditations and certifications to comply with the most stringent government security standards; for example, Azure’s cloud compliance with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP — including FedRAMP High, FedRAMP, Moderate and FedRAMP Accelerated) and CJIS state-level agreements. Recently, the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) granted accreditation for Azure to handle controlled unclassified information (CUI) via Level 5 Provision Authority. The government cloud is built around hardened US data centers, including East coast, with 500-mile geo-redundancy, operated by screened US persons.
